About The Author

lastfactor&c began, at first, as a collaborative blog by myself and a close friend; however, as time went by, we had less time to dedicate to posting here and at long last we went on an indefinite hiatus, and left this place behind.

More recently, after some spring cleaning by Zurie, I decided to make my reappearance–and, hopefully, to turn this into a platform for the works I hope, someday, to see in print. That’s not to say that I’m a regular poster – I’m not. However, I hope that my readers – such as they are, after three years’ absence and a lukewarm presence even then – will enjoy what I can bring to view.

The Man Behind The Keyboard

What do you mean, I shouldn’t use accents when I’m talking to myself? The author of this blog is somewhere around 6’2″ tall, bearded, and glasses-wearing. He dwells in a musty library in his own subconscious, and only leaves every five years or so (for a lunch break). He has been accused of being a dreamer, an idealist, a fool, and a robot (though not necessarily in that order).

His principal occupation in recent days (and for the duration of the foreseeable future) is as an English and secondary-education student, in the hopes of teaching overseas. However, his ambitions are not limited to education, and he hopes one day to have a place upon your bookshelf. His principal genres of choice are science fiction (hard and soft) and fantasy (high, low, and heroic), ranging from comedic to downright serious.
